We are blessed...once again two of our greatest friends got married ad we were the photographers...the officiant...and a bridesmaid! Maria glowed the entire day and Rod was so sweet sharing the heartfelt feelings he has for Maria. Maria and Rod's 14 years together has been one filled with love and happiness this commitment sealed the deal-these to are going to be together forever! We love you both!
Jeff and I Love these two amazing people very much. Sarah and Koza are two of our very best friends and we could not have been more proud to be a part of their amazing day. The weekend was spent with our closest friends and family at Honey Creek Resort in southern Iowa. Jeff performed his best ceremony ever, John Kozas dad gave two of the best speeches we have ever heard, and Kara sent a super touching message to the couple. We cannot be happier for them.
This was the day of AWESOME eyes...and Brad! Aaron is a true beauty with stunning eyes. Actually everyone in the wadding party had really killer eyes! Brad was the best man and our muse for the day-at any given time we could always look to Brad for entertainment and a fun shot. I smiled all day at this wedding not only because these guys were tons of fun-but also because I was surrounded by beautiful people who love each other very much.
Joe wins first place Mr. Romantic for the year. He surprised Jennifer with this killer ring during the ceremony, gave Morgan Jennifer's daughter a special ring to symbolize their bond, he really showed everyone how much he is so crazy in love with Jennifer. Jennifer was amazingly beautiful, and super sweet. This wedding made me tingle with happy love thoughts...these guys really have something special! Congratulations Joe and Jennifer!
Melissa and her mom came in for a special bridal shoot. I shot Melissa in her moms wedding dress which has amazing bead work and is from my favorite era-the eighties! Melissa not only is a natural beauty but is super fun and very sweet. I am REALLY excited to photograph her fall wedding.
We traveled north to Emmetsberg hang out with Courtney & Cody. I really don't remember ever laughing so much while shooting. Cory and his brother Kyle really kept things interesting! Courtney was stunning and super cool to be around-and here bridesmaids were our favorites!!
Sweet Jenna and Donovan. There were so many special moments during the day...lots of tears, and love shared with their amazing friends and families. Not to mention-this wedding party was straight out of a magazine-super beautiful people.
So we packed up the saddle bags and rode over to Goldfield for this engagement session. We headed over to the farm with cameras and cowboy hats to capture some shots with the big sky and the horses too. The light was perfect and it made us realize that every cowboy needs a cowgirl to share his life with and every cowgirl dreams of her cowboy.
It was nice to have these two head up from Boone so we could shoot their engagements. It was also cool that they stopped by a watering-hole before they came to loosen their moods. It was a free spirited session to say the least and it made for some great candid shots too.
It was great for the girls to come in to have their pictures taken together. If only they knew that we were as excited for them coming as they were. We loaded up some furniture and headed to the pasture for some great shots. As you can see they were not lacking in beauty and there was no lack in fun either. Thanks for coming in girls for your photo session.
Joshua and Sarah made the trip from Iowa City to Fort Dodge so that we could snap some engagement pictures of them. They even brought their wonder dog Winston. Sarah was like a modern day wonder women for coming all that way with her Iron Man. We are looking forward to their July wedding at the Honey Creek Resort at Lake Rathbun...it should be a Marvel good time.
